Collection Relocation Project 2021-2022.
I was invited to quote as an independent contractor to project manage the relocation of an Archive from existing storage to new long term storage. The deadline was a short 6 months due to building redevelopment timelines and impacts of Covid-related restrictions.
The project included scoping proposed sites for redevelopment, recommending fit out of the chosen spaces, contracting and managing service providers (cataloguing software, art handlers, archival supplies, racking, builders and removalists).
In preparation for the move a full cataloguing project was undertaken, including photography, location tracking, and rehousing.
